Dymus (die-muss) bar was added so you could get the Eccentric Biomes Wrench. Dymus was a random word from a random material generator. It uses the basic shape of the iron ingot.

There is no ore for getting these bars. You can also find it in dungeon, pyramid, mineshaft, and blacksmith villager chests.
