The Amethyst Grove biome was added in to be able to get purple wood. MCE made a house in the normal amethyst biome, but there wasn't a purple colored wood for his house, so this biome was added. The biome foliage color is actually Purple Amethyst. The sky color is the same.
It's under the name "grove" instead of "forest" because the biome isn't packed with trees like a forest biome. And "grove" was the best word to use.
Generations[ | ]
This biome doesn't have any real special generations. It doesn't generate lakes, trees or flowers. It does generate tall grass and the mauvewood tree. Only that kind of tree generates here.
