The Amethyst biome was added in at the last minute before the 1.4 update. MCE wanted to add a new biome, to expand on how many biomes there are in the mod. He thought of something with a purple-ish color, and that's how he got the name Amethyst which is a color. The biome foliage color is actually Purple Amethyst. The sky color is the same.

Generations

This biome doesn't have any real special generations. It doesn't generate lakes, trees or flowers. It does generate tall grass.
