The obsidian forest was inspired by a few biomes in minecraft. The swamp, as you can see by the 2 different colors of the biome, and the ice spike plans, as you can see by the obsidian spikes. The sky takes after the grey-purpleish color rather than the grey color.
Generations[ | ]
No trees or flowers generate here, but tall grass does and an occasional mushroom has been seen on some of the spikes. Obviously, you can see there's obsidian spikes, which are similar to the ice spikes, but these are shorter and skinnier.
There are 2 colors with this biome, a gray one and a purple grayish. This was inspired from the swamp biome. The top block is grass, while the filler is dirt like how most biomes are. Lakes can also generate. Passive and hostile mobs spawn here.
When there is water from a river, lake or ocean, some obsidian spike will generate over them. They generate right on top of the water, no obsidian block has been seen generate right underneath the water. Mobs have been known to spawn on top of these spikes.
